Product Description
Magnesite is a naturally occurring mineral having a chemical formula of MgCO3. Known for strength and heat resistant properties, Magnesite Bricks are one of the most widely used basic refractory bricks. They have resistance to corrosive reactions with chemically basic slags, dusts and fumes at elevated temperatures. Compared to fire clay bricks, these bricks do not have glassy phase. They are designed to withstand severe conditions in alternative fuel fired cement kilns. High thermal capacity and thermal conductivity make Magnesite Bricks ideal refractories for steel making processes. Also, these bricks contain higher content of boron oxide which has improved hydration resistance.
